Simphiwe Ndebele is currently serving as a Candidate Attorney at MHI. She holds both an LLB and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies, Criminology and Forensics, both obtained from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). She is a driven and detail oriented legal professional with a solid academic foundation and progressively practical experience within both the public and private sector. 

 

Her first substantive exposure to legal practice was at the uMgungundlovu District Municipality, where she served as a Legal Intern for over a year. During this period, she gained hands-on experience in municipal legal operations. This role strengthened her understanding of public law, governance, compliance, and administrative processes, while reinforcing her professional judgment and ethical standards. She successfully completed her Practical Vocational Training through the IPCE.  

 

In addition to her legal training, Ms. Ndebele brings a well-rounded skill set developed through diverse work experiences. While at UKZN, she served as a Student Assistant, supporting residence governance within university accommodation, which enhanced her leadership, administrative, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. She also worked as a Contact Centre Agent at Computershare, where she developed strong interpersonal communication skills, professionalism, time management, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, service-driven environments. Simphiwe Ndebele is a committed and capable emerging legal practitioner, combining academic excellence, practical legal training, and strong interpersonal competence. She demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, and a clear dedication to continuous growth within the legal profession.
