She began her career as a Trainee Legal Advisor (Graduate Programme) at Rand Water’s Group Legal Services, where she provided valuable contributions to legal research, document drafting, and litigation support. Notably, she played an integral role in preparing and vetting Section 54 PFMA applications, addressing material transactions that required oversight and compliance with statutory regulations. She also contributed to enhancing debt collection processes and facilitating intergovernmental dispute resolutions. Sbahle's professional ethos centres on excellence and integrity, with strict adherence to legislative and regulatory frameworks. She further holds certifications in Legal Opinion Writing and Research, Contract Management, and Risk, Compliance, and Governance.
