Acknelar Chimhanda is a holder of an LLB (postgraduate) degree from the Witwatersrand University (“Wits”). She later served her articles with the Wits law clinic. Acknelar was admitted as an attorney in February 2010, and in the same year she obtained a Higher Diploma in Tax (HDip Tax) from Wits University. In November 2013, Acknelar was admitted as a Conveyancer and in November 2014, she was further admitted as a Notary Public.

Acknelar has 13 years of Conveyancing experience and has extensive experience in bond cancellations and registering bonds in favour of Standard Bank, Absa, FNB and Nedbank and Investec as well as transfer of residential properties.

Besides residential and commercial transfers, Acknelar has experience in drafting and registering of Expropriation transfers, registering General Notarial, special and surety bonds and servitudes as well as drafting and registering of Antenuptial contracts.
